The vision and mission of the project is to become a culinary reference, both nationally and internationally, offering the discovery of original gastronomic proposals and the delight of a unique meal. The values of the restaurant go hand in hand with the trajectory conveyed by Europe Hotels International, of being committed to tradition, respect, dedication, effort and joint collaboration.
The culinary concept of the Taste 1973 Restaurant is born from the memory of the island's gastronomy and especially from the south of the island, where Europe Hotels International has been a pioneer in implementing this project.
After more than 40 years of experience in the tourism sector, in response to the growth of the national culinary sector, the aim is to accentuate, promote, encourage and disseminate a creative and avant-garde gastronomic experience.
A progress of overcoming and strength that now derives in the creation of a new gastronomic concept in the municipality, thanks to the integration of a creative and current spirit.

Signature cuisine, creative and personal, with innovative gastronomic techniques that highlight the diffusion of flavours. Fusion of the singularities and history of Tenerife, and particularly of the south of the island, in the cuisine.
A specific space has been carefully created for research, experimentation, creativity and innovation (R&D&I).

Taste 1973 Restaurant is led by chef Diego Schattenhofer. Co-founder of multidisciplinary teams such as Astrochefs or Gastrosinapsis, dedicated to improving the culinary experience.
In recent years, he has given various presentations at renowned congresses such as San Sebastián Gastronómica and Madrid Fusión. He also received the Award for Best Technological Innovation for his "Flying Tapas" together with Astrochefs (2010).
Together with the kitchen team, with Sous-chef Diego Maderna, our team is dedicated to the maximum with the aim that the guest enjoys the experience in all senses.
Our waiters are led by Aníbal Morales, head waiter and sommelier, and Alberto Somoza, second waiter, highly qualified professionals with a long career and experience in the sector.
Taste 1973 Restaurant combines gastronomy, technique and history. For this reason, the accumulation of knowledge is essential for the creativity and creation of the restaurant's dishes, which is why our work team is supported by a multidisciplinary team made up of neurologists, psychologists, biologists, historians and many others.
Taste 1973 Restaurant has two tasting menus, a 9-course menu and a 14-course menu.

In case of cancellations before 48h, the day of the reservation can be changed according to availability. After the 48h cancellation period, 50€ per person will be charged.
