PRIVACY POLICY

EUROPE HOTELS IINTERNACIONAL, S.A., a Company, (hereinafter EHI), wishes to express its respect for and compliance with the provisions set out in the Ley Orgánica 15/1999 of the 13^th December, regarding Personal Data Protection. Therefore, the company wishes to inform you of its data protection policy so that you may decide voluntarily if you wish to provide EHI with your personal details.

EHI would like to inform you that any personal details introduced through the Portal, and likewise, those that may be provided in the future under the framework of your legal relationship with this entity, will be collected in files owned by EHI, details of which appear on the letterhead. These files will be used for management, administration and for providing hotel reservation services that may be requested through the EHI Portal, to aid the compliance and execution of the contracts that may be entered into in order to make the reservations, to better know your tastes and to adapt the services to your preferences, such as to be able to offer you new services and send you commercial information relating to news and promotions from companies in the EHI group within the field for hotels reservations. The recipients of such collected information will solely be EHI employees.

Except in the fields for which the opposite is expressly demonstrated by means of an asterisk, the answers to the questions on personal details are voluntary, in which case failure to answer such questions will not imply a decrease in the quality of the services requested by you. Lack of compliance with the fields that are marked as obligatory, or submission of incorrect information, will render it impossible for EHI to provide such services as may be requested.

Likewise, in the search for total clarity in its relationship with the client, EHI would like to inform you of the use in this Portal of other computer mechanisms relating to personal details, such as cookies and logs.

The cookies are messages sent by the server to the user's computer, consisting of text files that are stored in the computer memory and that gather information relating to the pages that are visited, i.e. the time of Internet connection etc. The cookies are re-sent to the server each time the user enters that page.

The purpose of the EHI cookies is to personalise the services that we offer you, providing you with information that you may find to be of interest. If you do not wish for cookies to be installed on your hard drive, you can alter your computer's navigator so as not to receive them. However, we would like you to note that in that case the functioning quality of the Portal could diminish.

The cookies are solely associated with an anonymous user and his/her computer and they do not adjust the client's personal details themselves, neither can they read information from the client's hard drive, nor read the cookie files created by other providers.

The logs are files stored in the EHI' server that register information regarding its navigation and they have the principal purpose of assembling information on the activities carried out by you. They also allow us to carry on providing the services that you request, becoming more familiar with your preferences and offering you other services that may suit your tastes. Likewise, they help us to analyse how the system is functioning, to locate any incidences or problems that may arise and to solve such problems in as short a time as is possible.

Your consent is required in order to include your personal details in EHI' files and to send you commercial communications. You will be able to give your consent on acceptance of this Privacy Policy by choosing the ACCEPT option that will appear at the end of the policy. Before accepting this statement, none of your personal details will be entered into EHI' files.

In relation to the communication of information, by accepting this Privacy Policy you agree to allow the personal details that you may enter through the Portal, and any others that may derive from your legal relationship with EHI, to be passed on for the aforementioned purposes to the companies in the EHI group dedicated to tourist information (hotel bookings, etc). These details will be stored and dealt with solely by the said companies under such conditions as are here listed and for the aforementioned purposes, guaranteeing in every case that the grantee companies are registered in countries that grant a level of protection to the personal details that is comparable to such level in Spain and that will implement the security measures that are required by its national legislation.

You will have the possibility of exercising your right of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition by making a request by any means that provides evidence of sending and receipt. EHI upholds levels of protection of your personal details in conformance with the Real Decreto (Royal Decree) 994/1999, of 11^th June (1999), in relation to security measures for automated files that contain personal information and EHI have implemented all the technical measures within their power in order to avoid the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and theft of details with which you may provide EHI, even though Internet security may not be completely firm against breaches.

EHI reserves the right to modify the current Privacy Policy in order to adapt it to new legislation, jurisprudence or from interpretation by the Data Protection Agency. In such an event, EHI will announce such changes, clearly indicating with due warning the modifications carried out and will request your acceptance of such changes where necessary.

The current Privacy Policy shall be complemented by the general contractual conditions of EHI services.
